Gail Jenkins is lead author of Anatomy and Physiology: From Science to Life, which emphasizes the Health Sciences, and Executive Committee member of the Human Anatomy and Physiology Society. Professor Jenkins was the recipient of the Montgomery College Outstanding Faculty Award and the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development Excellence Award for Outstanding Contributions to Teaching and Learning from the University of Texas. Following undergraduate studies focusing in medical technology, she completed a graduate biological sciences instructor credential program and a master’s degree in biological sciences with research in neuroembryology conducted at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington.
