A tuition exemption as set forth in section 16-106(c) of The Education Article, Annotated Code of Maryland, is available at community colleges to students who are Maryland residents who "obtain certification from the Social Security Administration…that the individual receives disability and retirement benefits under the Social Security Act…" (section 16-106(c)(2)).
