Dan Rankin (MCTV) Wins Emmy
Montgomery College Instructional Television (MCTV) Producer/Director Dan Rankin has received a National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences 2009 Emmy Award. Dan earned the nomination for his work on the "The Computer Gaming and Simulation Program at Montgomery College," a 30-minute program in the category of Informational/Instructional; Program/Special. All honors were presented as part of the 52nd EMMY Awards held June 5 at The Ritz-Carlton in Washington, DC.

Dr. DeRionne P. Pollard Named President of Montgomery College
Dr. DeRionne P. Pollard has been named as the next president of Montgomery College. Dr. Pollard brings 15 years of community college teaching and leadership experience to Montgomery College. She will officially start as president on August 2, 2010.

MC Green is a new MCTV show that focuses on the “eco-friendly” efforts of Montgomery College and the surrounding community.
