·        This program provides comprehensive explanations of grammar and writing, and some exercises to review understanding

Some of the exercises are “edit and compare” types, so more complex responses can be provided, though, to get best benefit from these, you will have to Talk to a human!

 To Use: 

·        Go to the Welcome screen:

·        Select “Handbook Menu” or “Exercise Menu

·        You may also “turn pages” by clicking on the Pageturn symbols.

·        Select an exercise.

 

 

 

·        You will get immediate feedback on each response, telling why it is right or wrong.

·        While it may seem as though screens cover up needed information, it is possible to move them by dragging on the black header bars.

·        This is handy for the helpful summary charts.

Exercise page

·        Another useful function of the Electronic Bedford is its Index.

It’s available by clicking on the word “INDEX” in the lower left of most pages.

·        At the end of each exercise, write down your score on your score sheet.

When you’re done for the day, bring the score sheet by one of the staff tutors and we’ll initial it for you. This gives us the chance to offer to help if you had any difficulty, and confirms to your teacher that you were in the room.
