Brownian Motion and Black-Sholes Option Pricing Formula

In 1987, while examining pollen grains suspended in water under a microscope, Robert Brown observed minute particles within vacuoles in the pollen grains executing a continuous jittery motion. We will discuss how this has led to the famous Black-Sholes formula for pricing European call or put options.

No matter what you need, we can help you find it! We have 30 full-time and over 50 part-time faculty ready to help you succeed, no matter what your level of interest or ability. Our courses are scheduled across the day and evening, as well as on Saturday. We provide a multitude of services in our Math/Science Center, including a 64-station networked computer lab and free walk-in tutoring.
