Foreign Language Lab Usage Policy
• A maximum work time of four hours per day allowed.
• Only three activities (computer, video, and cassette) count toward lab time.
• One person per workstation.
• Students must complete half of lab hours before midterms.
• Reports are printed at 8:00 am on the first day of midterms and finals.
• No talking.
• No food or drink of any type allowed in the lab.
• Must be currently enrolled in MC foreign language class to use lab materials.
Foreign Language Procedures for Rockville &
Takoma Park Students
• Student should first check to make sure their instructor will accept a lab report from this lab.
• Student must provide proof of registration, which includes course information, instructor's
name and section number of the most current semester.
• Reports are printed ONLY twice a semester, the first day of mid-terms and first day of finals at
8:00 AM. Printout will be available at Student Aide desk.
• Students will deliver their printout to their instructors.
• All students MUST comply with the lab's "Usage Policy."
* As part of the Writing Center, the language lab provides valuable resources for the development of listening and speaking in Spanish
and French. Students using language lab must obey both the Writing Center and language lab policies.
