Montgomery College presents Class Acts Arts’ production of
THE SNOW QUEEN
In-Flight Theater
Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 11 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Rockville Campus
Set atop floating ice castles, amidst magical masked and flying forest creatures, this spectacular athletic performance is “theatre-in-the-air” – a sixty minute, multi-dimensional experience for all! The cast, both hearing and deaf, retells this famous Hans Christian Andersen tale about love, friendship, and courage through eloquent speech and signing…moving both on the ground and in the air. With characters and a set that goes beyond “normal limits,” you’ll be wowed by acts using the trapeze and invented aerial floating sculptures immersing you in a rich, fantastical fairy tale world. Exploring real and imagined risk, The Snow Queen inspires us to move beyond perceptions of physical “limitations” in a truly delightful way.
Recommended for ages 5 and up - Tickets are $7 Adults, $6 Seniors and Students

This program is funded in part by the Maryland State Arts Council’s Capital Region Performing Arts Touring Program
