A CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR YOU
From Ronnie Spector and Darlene Love
December 11, 2009 at 8 p.m.
Rockville Campus
Ronnie Spector and Darlene Love have two of the most distinctive voices in pop music history. They defined the essence of the “girl group” sound, paving the way for future generations.
Although Ms. Spector and Ms. Love have recorded more Christmas hits than any other two people on the planet, they have never performed together live on stage for the holidays. Now they have come together in a historic reunion to create an exciting new concert version of the album A Christmas Gift for You, which is considered simply the all-time rock & roll holiday classic.
Originally released in November 1963, A Christmas Gift for You has been repeatedly rereleased and a holiday best-seller, over the years. This wonderful Christmas show features the original voices of such holiday hits as “Frosty the Snowman,” “Sleigh Ride” and “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus” by Ronnie Spector and “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home),” “White Christmas” and “Winter Wonderland” by Darlene Love.
Tickets are $35 Regular, $33 Seniors and Students
