Textbook Information

Books are available at the campus where the class is offered, including continuing education courses. The books for web classes are available at the Rockville store. When purchasing your books on-campus, please remember to bring your class schedule with you. Where are my books?

Books may be transferred to other campuses, but this does take up to three business days.

At this time, books ordered on-line cannot be picked up at your campus store. This is because Montgomery College Bookstores have partnered with MBS Direct, a national distributor of textbooks, to provide our customers with the books they need for their classes.

On MBS Direct, you can order your books or view your booklist/Instructions.

In addition, you can view the most current booklist from the bookstore database. Instructions / Difference between the lists.

Student Financial Aid candidates need to come in to a campus location to purchase their books.

Books produced specifically for Montgomery College (i.e. Nursing Syllabi, the International Student's Manual (DS104) or the MC Student's Guide to Good Writing) are only available in your campus location.
