Anatomy & Physiology II (BI 205) is a detailed study of the structure and function of the body including digestion and metabolism, respiratory system, circulatory system and immunity, excretory system and body fluids, reproductive systems, human development and the endocrine system. PREREQUISITE: Four hours of biological science. Two hours lecture, four hours laboratory each week. 4 semester hours

Course Instructor:

Your online instructor for this course is Professor Karen Benn Marshall, Associate Professor of Biology at the Takoma Park Campus of Montgomery College. Professor Marshall has been teaching at Montgomery College for the past two years and has taught for over 12 years.

General Course Information:

This course is intended for science, nursing and allied health majors. Although the lecture and some of the lab components of this course will be completed electronically, there is a weekly MANDATORY on-campus laboratory requirement. All on-campus lab sessions will be held at the Takoma Park Campus in Science North (SN) 205. Labs will meet on Friday afternoons from 12:00 – 3:20 p.m. In addition, there is a MANDATORY ORIENTATION SESSION on Tuesday, January 27 from 7:30 – 9:00 p.m. in SN 209.

Lecture exams for this course must also be taken on campus in a proctored environment. All exams must be taken at the Takoma Park Assessment Center. The Assessment Center hours are Monday – Thursday, 8:30 – 8:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:30 – 4:00 p.m. The exams will be available in the Assessment Center for five days. You will have to schedule your exam and take it at a time convenient for you.
