We've started our own TechLEAP/WDCE Bike Club - BikeLEAP. Eight of us rode at Antietam on November 13.

This great ride loops from Riley's Lockhouse, C&O Canal, to Peachtree Road, through Poolesville, and returns. Unfortunately, in Fall 2011, there are two bridges out along the route! A 25 mile ride turned into a 40 mile trek and stream crossings - very exciting - with a little help from Google Maps IPhone App.

This ride is also known as the "Home by Noon" Ride - i.e., if you leave by 9, you'll be home by noon. Not so with two bridges out!
