Objective
= give your users three (3) ways to find the same information!
User Link Option 1 - A Horizontal Navbar typically uses
JavaScript Buttons or
Cascading Style Sheet Buttons.
--User Link Option 2 - Locate links on the Left NavBar
--User LInk Option 3 - Include explanatory text with links in the Main
Section.
--User Link Option 4 - Right Colum - NavBar, Ads, News, Important Information!
These links don't have to all be the same - they can be
complimentary. But some important links will be the same or similar,
to make it as easy as possible for users to "function" on
your web site. This is called web site 'functionality" or "usability."
Organization Web Site – will presume that users will use the 1 link provided, and understand its meaning!!! This is the equivalent of a “Professorial “Harrumph!”
MC User site = tries to help 22,000 undergrads and 24,000 adult learners find the information they need in 3 clicks or less without using the dreaded search engine!
