    1. Zip (199 or 250 MB) or
    2. Mini USB Flash Drive (32, 64, 128, 256, 512 MB)- 64 or 128 MB would be plenty of space - see CNET.com for ratings, prices. (128 MB is about the "minimum" these days.)
  5. Data files from Course Technology

    1. Go to www.Course.com. Click on Student Downloads
    2. Copy and paste the following ISBN No. for the Web Collection Textbook - 0-619-10980-7
    3. Download the Fireworks (5.86 MB) and Flash (454 KB) files to C:\My Documents or My Downloads. (You can also download the DreamWeaver files if you wish, but we probably won't be using them in this class.)
    4. After download, copy the files to your Zip or Flash USB mini-drive.

  • Import into DreamWeaver - Macromedia MX Ch. A-14 - 15;

  • Edit Fireworks images in DreamWeaver
  • Create a page which has the following elements
    • Banner
    • Graphic "retouched" with Fireworks tools or effects.
    • See graphics at MC-RJK Pictures , or use your own bitmap or vector image
    • Navigation Bar
    • Main text area
    • "Contact Information" area at bottom of page.
    • Break all of these into slices. See tutorial notes on slicing, and Fireworks Chapter C-4 - C-19
  • Distinguish between image slicing and HTML areas. See tutorial notes.
  • Export your Fireworks product.
