Motorcycle Safety Program

Motorcycle RiderThank you for your interest in Montgomery College’s Motorcycle Safety Program, approved by the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration. We offer the BRC (Basic Riding Course) for beginning riders seeking to get licensed, ABRC (Alternate Basic Riding Course) for experienced riders seeking to get licensed, and the ERC (Experienced Rider Course) for experienced riders needing skill enhancements. Please take note of the Policies and Procedures for the program, as some of them differ slightly from the regular Open Enrollment classes you might take at Montgomery College.

Check the Registration page for the next registration dates, and instructions on how to register. The schedule of classes lists the most recent information on class dates and times. For further information about registration procedures and other frequently asked questions please visit Motorcycle Safety FAQs or Motorcycle Safety Policies and Procedures.

A standby lottery is available for Motorcycle classes. See the Motorcycle FAQs - Standby Lottery, page for more details.
