2012 Nonprofit Management Boot Camp

The Montgomery College Nonprofit Leadership Institute invites applicants for the 2012 Nonprofit Management Boot Camp. The Boot Camp is designed to challenge and cultivate the skills of mid-level administrators (program directors and program managers), directors and those new to management. It is ideal for those individuals who find themselves managing personnel and programs and who desire to participate in a professional development program. The program will last over an eight (8) month period which will include nine (9) full-day sessions at the Montgomery College Gaithersburg Business Training Center.

We are pleased to announce that Maryland Nonprofits will be the lead facilitating organization.Maryland Nonprofits' mission is to strengthen,educate, and engage nonprofit organizations,so they can successfully achieve their missions. Their commitment to professional development, facilitating, and training will enable us to provide an effective, intense, and interactive program.

Participants in the program will learn:

• Key issues affecting the nonprofit sector
• Program development, implementation and evaluation skills
• Fundamentals of human resources and finance
• An overview of effective leadership in the nonprofit sector
• How to enhance leadership strengths and skills
• How to improve meeting management, presentation and public speaking skills

Day-long sessions, 8:30am - 4:00pm
TUITION: $435
FEE: $230
Non-MD residents add: $300
Tuition Waiver Applies: Seniors (age 60+) pay fee only
