Programs fill quickly; early registration is strongly recommended! Approximately one month before the start of our Youth Programs, brochures and applications are sent to local schools and are posted on the website. Check out the Fall 2008 edition of the Youth Scoop to see what's happening at the Youth Department. For futher information about any of the following programs call 240-567-7264 or 240-567-7917.

One Day Enrichment Programs
Students spend a day on the college campus participating in 3 - 4 workshops selected from a wide range of topics.

Art Explosion ! For: students in grades 2, 3, & 4. Where: Takoma Park / Silver Spring Campus. When: October 25, 2008

Other Programs, After School and on Saturdays
These classes meet once a week for several weeks after school or on Saturdays.

enthusiastic youthsKids College For: students in grades K to 12. Where: Campus locations vary, classes may be offered on any of the three campuses. When: After school and on Saturdays in the Spring and Fall.

Piano for Kids For: Students in grades K to 4 (includes 5 year olds). Where: Rockville Campus. When: 15 week classes offered in Fall and Spring.
Spring classes start January 24, 2009.

Youth Development Institute Broad-based, interdisciplinary Courses for Independent learners in grades K through 12 with flexible school schedules. When: Offered various weekdays, beginning in late September or early March.

Summer Youth Programs

Summer Youth Programs Creative Fun for students in grades K to 12. Where: Classes offered at all campuses.
